Welcome to the newsletter from MapleLeaf Hardwoods and Curlymaple.com! I hope everyone is off to a good start on their summer plans! I’m sending out this update to let you know of new material that I have available both on the website and in bulk. As always, I greatly appreciate your continued business as I do my best to provide you with the best in figured lumber!

Current Bulk Sales:

I have approximately 200bf of lightly figured 8/4 curly soft maple available. Most of this is in the rough but some has been hit or miss planed to 1 15/16”. Widths range from 6” to 11” and lengths are generally 8’ to 12’. Material is sapwood one face at a minimum and may be sapwood two face or have varying degrees of heartwood on the second face. This material is $3.75 a board foot.

I also have approximately 200bf of lightly to nicely figured 8/4 curly hard maple. Just about all of this material has been hit or miss planed to 1 15/16”. Widths range 7 1/2” to 11” wide and lengths are mostly 8’ and 10’. The majority of this material is sapwood two face but it may have some heartwood on the second face. This material is $3.75 a board foot.

Lastly, do you have a project where you just need some lumber and you aren’t real particular about what it is? For something like drawer sides or structural pieces that aren’t necessarily visible? I have some 4/4 maple lumber available that I’m selling for the rock bottom price of $2.55 a board foot! It may have figure in it in spots. It may have some spots or streaks of drying stain on one face. Widths are generally 5" to 9” and lengths vary. I guarantee that it will be flat usable lumber that is free of cracks and knots. I just need to get it out of here!!
